Jason’s debut CD reflects his love of various styles from uptown horn arrangements, funk, Texas shuffles, and traditional blues. The CD features some of Vancouver's finest musicians including Al Webster (Long John Baldry, Jeff Healey, Colin James) on drums, Norm Fisher (Colin James, Bryan Adams) on bass, and Dave Webb on piano. Three tracks feature Steve Hilliam and Derry Byrne (Little Big Band Horns) on tenor sax and trumpet. Two of Jason’s songs have also been featured on Vancouver’s crime drama TV show “Cold Squad”. “Urban Blues” has received excellent reviews and the disc offers a diverse blend guaranteed to satisfy!!

Jason's second C.D" "Live at The Blue Gator" was released in 2009.This C.D is a  psychedelic blues guitar work-out featuring Canadian Harmonica whiz Harpdog Brown on 2 tracks. Jason puts a spin on some standard blues rock covers and does great justice to a couple Hendrix classics. The C.D includes a bonus track recorded live at The Yale and features the late Robbie King on Hammond B-3. This was recorded by Zig Zag Lightning at a funky little Blues Club called The Blue Gator in Kelowna B.C, Canada.
